Commencing from Paro, the journey unfolds with treks to historic Jele Dzong, rhododendron-draped landscapes, and pristine alpine lakes. Traverse Nyile La Pass, capturing views of Jichu Drake and Gangkar Puensum. The trail leads to Simkotra Tsho, offering panoramic ridge vistas and encounters with yak herders. Explore Phajoding Monastery before descending to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital. Day 1: Paro to Jele Dzong
- Start at Ta Dzong (National Museum) in Paro
- Trek to Jele Dzong
- Visit the historic Jele Dzong
- Campsite altitude: Approximately 3480 meters
- Trek duration: 4-5 hours
Day 2: Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha
- Trek through rhododendron forests
- Enjoy panoramic views of Paro Valley
- Campsite altitude: Approximately 3770 meters
- Trek duration: 4-5 hours
Day 3: Jangchulakha to Jimilang Tsho
- Trek through more rhododendron forests
- Pass Nyile La Pass (4,010 meters)
- Enjoy views of Jichu Drake and Gangkar Puensum
- Campsite altitude: Approximately 3870 meters
- Trek duration: 5-6 hours
Day 4: Jimilang Tsho to Simkotra Tsho
- Trek along the ridge with stunning mountain views
- Pass through yak herders’ camps
- Enjoy the beautiful lakes, including Simkotra Tsho
- Campsite altitude: Approximately 4110 meters
- Trek duration: 4-5 hours
Day 5: Simkotra Tsho to Phajoding-Thimphu
- Continue along the ridge with breathtaking views
- Descend to Phajoding Monastery
- Visit the monastery and enjoy the serene surroundings
- Trek duration: 5-6 hours
- Overnight stay in a Thimphu hotel
Note: This itinerary provides a general outline, and actual trekking times may vary based on individual and group factors. The trek is best undertaken during the optimal seasons from March to June and September to November.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Payment Terms
- The approval of tourists VISA is contingent on the full payment of the tour
- Flight ticket payment is subject to the Ticketing Time Limit issued by the airlines
Tour Cancellation and Refund Policy
- 30 to 15 days prior to arrival – 20% of the total tour cost will be levied as cancellation fee
- 14 to 7 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour cost will be levied as cancellation fee
- Less than a week prior to arrival – 100% cancellation charge will be levied as cancellation fee

Rescheduling Tour Dates:
- There are no charges for rescheduling your trip. However the minimum daily tariff, hotel rates, airline charges are subject to change depending on your new travelling dates.
